First Principles
Course Information
First Principles is a series of classes that can be thought of as “Christianity 101″. The goal is to equip all disciples with the scriptures and tools needed to teach others the basic principles of Christianity, and thus live out Jesus’ Great Commission of making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded. (Matthew 28:18-20) If you are a member of the Eugene Church and you have not passed the first principles classes as a member of the Eugene Church this is a meeting of the body and you should make every effort to attend. Every member of the church is expected to pass the series of classes and to retake first principles if they have not.
- This course should take a high priority in our day as it is geared to help you grasp a firmer hold on God’s Word and to deepen your understanding of His will for your life.
- Each session two new scriptures should be memorized for a written or verbal quiz at the beginning of each class.
