Below are testimonials of the Eugene disciples who attended last year’s New Member Orientation in Portland:
Erica Pepiot (disciple for 2 years)
“The new member orientation was GREAT! My favorite part was hearing about the greatest thing that’s happened to people since they have been disciples. It just shows how amazing God is, because at times I think we tend to forget. Something that really convicted me was when Kip asked ‘Are you just squeezing God into your busy schedule where it fits instead of putting God first?’ Wow… I know that this is me, so now I am inspired to repent by reading and praying before I do anything else, because I know everything else can wait!”
Stephen Rydstedt (5 months)
“The new member orientation was a great way to feel welcomed. I felt loved by everyone and got to meet a lot of amazing people. It was a great experience filled with food, fun, and fellowship.”

Heartfelt Letter from Germany: by Robert and Natalie Wolf
“Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 1:1-6
Recently, Robert and Natalie Wolf flew to Portland from Berlin, Germany, to visit both the Portland and Eugene International Churches of Christ. They wanted training in the ministry, encouragement, and to join us in the work of UpSideDown21 – as the new German translation team. Robert and Natalie visited with several Portland and Eugene leaders to learn about the ministry and about the UpSideDown21 international website. Their humility and hearts for God touched everyone they visited with. They wrote the following letter to the Eugene Church shortly after they touched down in Germany:
Dear brothers and dear sisters,
Thanks to all of you for the great time Natalie and I enjoyed with the Eugene International Church of Christ! We will never forget the sun flooded hours on the Eugene campus and the super fun times in all the cafés and restaurants of your beautiful little ‘big’ town…and especially in the open home of the Ciaramella mansion. We carry each one of you in our hearts and are fighting the good fight right by your side (to see us there, especially when the going gets tough, that’s faith). Every one of you can be proud of what the Almighty God has done through you for the German souls by setting us on fire through your natural love!
